Q: Do you offer "how to do a telecom audit" training?
We offer a basic telecommunications training course, which includes our e-book, Cut the Cost!, coupled with web type presentation, and pre-test and post-test. In addition, we can be your coach by providing additional assistance based upon your specific requirements.
Q: What's the difference in a phone bill audit and telecom audit?
A phone bill audit focuses on the billing from your existing carriers, which includes Internet services and wide area networks. We are looking at what you are paying as opposed to why you have what you have. Typically we offer an analysis of what you are paying and some cases recommendation for changes and/or negotiations with your current providers.
A telecom audits are meant to be much broader. We look at what you are paying for and why do you have what you have. Therefore, it is important that we have a much more in-depth understanding of your network. We collect information about everything that you are paying for and try to identify how the inventory (equipment, software, network, lines, etc.) is being used or not used. We provide a written analysis and recommendations where applicable.
Q: Can you help us with designing a phone system or data network? We don't want to rely on a vendor.
Yes, can help you compile a telephone system and/or data network needs analysis. We will take a look at what is right and wrong with your current systems. We will help document your current call-flow and ways it can be improved.
We can help prepare a Request for Quotation (RFQ), and interface with potential vendors.
We can help with technology selections and assist you with acquisition, implementation and post-cut evauluations.
